whats the equivalent of weeks dye works blue coat red to dmc
Hello Friends & Folk!
and a happy Bound virtually - Apr Sunday to y'all all ~
Yesterday I spent hours charting new designs into my computer software plan...
simply to have them mysteriously change symbols and colors
when I tried to preview or export the files to PDF.
FRUSTRATING is not fifty-fifty the give-and-take to depict how I felt,
then I tried to contact the Ursasoftware Co. to get assist...still haven't heard back from them ~
And then I called Apple and got the sweetest lady to help me...not that she was familiar with the software programme I use for designing cross stitch, simply ~ she is a cross stitcher!
... between her helping me with decadent files and technical-reckoner-stuff, nosotros chatted about stitching ~ she told me that years ago she even cross stitched a cover for her family unit bible!
isn't it dainty to connect with other lovers of needlework?
After recovering but 2 of my many charted files,
I needed a serious pause ~ a Nature Diversion...
so I grabbed my camera and went for a walkabout in the farmyard...
Male child information technology has been 'greening' nicely with the warmer temps and sunshine...
our sleeping flower friends are waking upwards!
|
| wild hyacinth and tete d' tete daffodils |
aren't the leaves of my snowball bush-league gorgeous?
honey that orangish-y middle ~
my favorite tiny bloom has always been violets...
uh oh!
looks like 'someone' tasted the leaves on this daffy:
aren't they beautiful....
even our catnip is growing!
Minew and the 'kittens' have already been munching on this :)
afterwards my walk, I still couldn't bring myself to get dorsum on the estimator
so I did what I honey ~
played with threads and fabrics to go back to my Stitching....
I rooted through some of my linens and have chosen the following
for 3 new upcoming designs for Summer:
left to right they are:
30ct Weeks Dye Works 'Straw' ~ 35ct Weeks Dye Works 'Cornsilk'
and 28ct Moving picture This Plus 'Wren'
don't you Love them?
♥
This project, below ~ is an upcoming Hallowe'en design for 2019:
was started a couple of months ago...then put bated.
it is being worked on 32ct Weeks Dye Works 'Parchment'
with Gentle Art & Weeks Dye Works threads ~
love her lilliputian face up & feet ~ & oh those colors!
I am keeping this piece of work in progress in my favorite 'Witchy' project bag from Lela Mae Designs ~
here is the link to their Facebook page:
I purchased this pocketbook at final twelvemonth'southward PSS Retreat in Lancaster PA
from the Lela Mae berth...of course it had to come abode with me ~
it has my sweetness friend Lisa Roswell's {the Primitive Needle} "Witchy" design sewn into it...
it is perfect and beautifully constructed ~
love the fabric pick the girls made for not merely the outside,...
but the inside lining too!
and the attachment-pull is this tiny arachnid-friend

While playing in my Threads ~ I came across 2 conversion charts that I had,
and then I copied them and pasted them for you!
~
feel free to save them to your computer,
so you tin can print them out and keep them in your project bag ~
